Picnic in the Yard

The forecast said it was going to rain today so Abbey wasn't planning on taking Jaaten to the park. It turned out to be really nice so they just had a picnic in our front yard. Abbey took Jaaten's tent, table and tea set and plastic food Grammie bought her outside for the picnic. Abbey is so great to Jaaten and we are super grateful we found her. ;) Thanks, Abbey!

Hiding in the empty cooler in our garage seems to be super funny to this wild girl!!

Jaaten definitely takes after Jaafe when it comes to ZONING IN on the TV. You cannot get this Little Girl's attention with a blow horn when she is watching TV!!

Jaaten LOVED this little dog at the park.

Abbey let Jaaten put on some of her chapstick the other day. It turned into being chapstick for the whole face and a small snack! Ugh!

My gym shoes are a new favorite of Jaaten's too...She thinks its funny to walk around in them but she falls every couple steps.

Empty Pool = BIG Fun for Little Girls!

We drained our pool the other day to refresh the water. Jaaten thought she was SO big running around in the empty pool! She must have run up and down, side to side for over 30 minutes the other night. ;)

Ponies are for Girls ;)

Jaaten's hair is growing so much now....I love it!! We can finally get 2 ponies in!

This was the Wild Girl last night when I got home from work with one big pony. ;) The small things are so amusing to me!

Park & Cousins

My cousin Pam and her family left to go back to Kansas City today. Jaaten loved playing with Lexi and Libby. They both went to the park with Jaaten and Abbey yesterday. This is Lexi going down the slide with her.

Yesterday she was particularly interested in her hairdo. ;)

The girls pushed Jaaten in her stroller down our street when they got back from the park. So cute!

Last night, we all went to San Tan Flats which is an outside bar/restaurant/live music place not too far from our house. We thought it would be fun for the kids. Jaaten danced in front of the singer half the night. ;)

The Pet Store & The Ostrich Fest

This is not the Pet Store or the Ostrich Fest but this is how we usually start our mornings at the Kellis House. ;) Cartoons!I LOVE pictures and I take my camera (sometimes 2 cameras) everywhere!! Somehow I end up not getting ANY pictures though! This is the only picture Jaafe and I had from our trip to San Diego a couple weeks ago and Ashlee had to send it to me. Thanks, Ash!

Abbey took Jaaten to the outdoor mall to play last week. They ended up stopping in the Pet Store too. Somebody LOVES animals just like her Mama!

Pam & Al (my cousins from Missouri) are here with their kids (2 boys and twin girls) for Spring Break. Jaafe went to the Ostrich Festival with them today and then took them to Goldfield Ghost Town afterwards. We are excited to have them in town and Jaaten LOVES the company at the house!!

This is a bubble you can get in and float across water, walk on top of the water, etc. That is Libby in the ball. She thought it would be fun UNTIL about 2 minutes after she got IN the ball. It was short lived but she told Jaafe is was REALLY FUN when she got out. ;)

Of course they had to see an Ostrich at the festival. Jaaten LOVED the animals!! Again!

Ghost Town was their 2nd stop today. Nathan took a picture with a guy who works there that looks JUST LIKE his Unlce Ken. ;)

Marley Farms

Jaafe took Jaaten to Marley Farms this morning. For those who don't know, Marley Farms is just down the road from our house. It is a non-profit Mini Farm. They have a petting zoo there with tons of animals which Jaaten LOVES!!! Today they had a pony, a deer and a goat for her to feed. We need one of those little scooper things they give the kids to feed the animals for our house! I'm always afraid Jaaten's fingers are going to get lost in Ted or Franny's mouth!

The owner of Marley Farms was there today with a little pet lamb that followed him around like a dog. Jaafe said Jaaten followed the Little Lamb around trying to grab its tail. As Jaafe was telling me about that Little Lamb, I could see the wheels turning in Jaafe's head. I wouldn't be surprised if we have a Little Lamb out our house soon!
