Stars of the Week

This is the first year we have had THREE Stars of the Week.  Homework should be fun once that all three have that too!  ;) 9.29.16

Jaaten has made a "Student/Star of the Week" poster a couple other times in kindergarten and pre-k even.  This year in first grade, I thought it was so cute her teacher, Mrs. Chavez, has all the students in the class say something nice about the "Student of the Week."  Jaaten stood in the front of the classroom and Mrs. Chavez wrote down all the nice things her classmates said about her on the big poster behind her.  Jaaten was so proud of herself that day!  What a neat idea. ;)  

Mrs. Brown is Hudson and Steel's KinderPrep teacher this year.  The room Mom collected money to buy her this cute basket of gift cards to her favorite places for her birthday.  Such a thoughtful idea.   I have realized how much teachers do for my kids in the last couple years.  I always feel like I cannot thank them enough.  



The boys love to go to PetClub and see the fish, snakes and hamsters while Jaaten is at gymnastics on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Steel always wants to bring something home...of course!

 Jaafe and the kids went the Home Show in Phoenix last Sunday while I was at work.  One of the booths were giving away free yardsticks.  The kids LOVED them!  I need to keep reminding myself how much the kids love the cheap, silly things!

This kid threw a HUGE fit including screaming and swinging....then looked like this less than 2 minutes later.  LOL!
