Bring on the Farm Animals!

There are some super cute activities to do in AZ in the Fall. Abbey took Jaaten to a Pumpkin Patch/Petting Zoo yesterday. Jaaten LOVES our dogs and horses so I was not surprised when Abbey said she was OBSESSED with the animals at this little farm.

These chicks are lucky to be caged.....Jaaten would have squeezed the life out of them......

This was a cute maze to walk through. Jaaten's shoe kept coming off so eventually they both stayed off. This Little Girl just loves to get dirty!!!

Grandparents & Mexico

Many o mornings, Jaafe lets Jaaten watch cartoons in our bed after she wakes up. Jaafe went hunting right before we left for Mexico. This was Jaaten the 1st morning he was gone. She walked in our room calling for him when I got her up. She even looked under the sheets for him....lol. She settled for handy Manny with me instead. ;)Grammy & Papa (my parents) offered to come to AZ and stay with Jaaten for a week while Jaafe and I went to Mexico for a wedding. This was the view from our room! We needed that vacation! AND it is always great to see someone get married....more so since they are such good friends of ours. ;)

HOWEVER......this was the scene at our house ALL week. Jaaten bringing Papa his shoes to take her outside.....

Papa & Grammy giving Jaaten a tootsie pop, ice cream, etc........since we NEVER give her sugar. ;)

Nevertheless, Jaaten ALWAYS wanted Papa to hold her!! It was cute.

Rodeos, New Pool & Football!

Friday night was Jaaten's first time going to a roping. She thought she was so cool when she sat up on our horse with her Daddy. She watched and waved at other people walking by on their horses as if saying, "Look at me. I'm on a horse too!" It was SO funny! The Tomboy in this Little Gal is starting to show! She would have climbed up and down the dirty bleachers and rolled around in the dirt ALL night long if I would have let her! We finally headed home around 8:30p for a bath.

This is Jaaten's new pool and she loves it! We set it up yesterday and Abbey let her play in it for over an hour! We are still having 100 degree+ weather....

Jaafe was home a little early Saturday (yesterday) to watch the ASU game on TV. Guess who watched too!

Livi & Ted

Livi is my girlfriend's daughter that came to visit us a couple weeks ago. Livi was so helpful with Jaaten and always entertained her in the car! Thanks, Livi! We took the girls over to see and RIDE Ted. Livi decided this wasn't her time to ride the pony. Jaaten was in though!

Headbands ;)

Jaaten will finally wear a headband! I have been trying to get this Little Girl to wear SOMETHING girly on her head for months now. She let me put the headband on today and kept it on! I'll take it..... This picture shows her mouth full of teeth too. ;)

Into Everything!

Jaaten is into EVERYTHING!! The refrigerator is her latest "favorite thing". She would stand in that doorway all day taking each thing out of the drawers and throwing it on the floor. It was cute the first time....now not so much. ;)

One of my very best girlfriends, Amber, came to AZ with her daughter Livi last week. I'm just waiting for Am to send me pictures she took.....hint hint, Amber. Anyway, for now, this is Jaaten right after we dropped them off at the airport to go back to KC Tuesday morning. I guess it was a little bright out for the Little Gal. She slept the whole way home.

Such a Ham!

I just LOVE this kid!! Jaaten DOES NOT like anything to be on her head! Not hats, not bows, not cute hooded towels....NOTHING!! Until this morning when she found a shower cap.......... I put it on her when she brought it over to me and let her look in the mirror. She laughed OUT LOUD when she saw herself! Even funnier is how upset she got when I took the hat off!

This was from this morning too....Jaaten didn't want anything to do with the banana I cut up for her. She wanted to do it herself!

It took Jaafe a few tries to get this picture.....again with not liking hats!

Jaaten and I were on our way to see Jaafe's new office for the first time a couple weeks ago. I asked Jaaten to smile just before we left so I could send Jaafe a picture letting him know we were on our way. What a ham!
