Back in AZ - Someone is Turning 7!

We made it back to AZ.  Jaaten flew back with Papa a few days after we drove home.  JUST in TIME for this girl to turn 7 years old at home!!  

Jaaten has become the sweetest little girl and we are so proud of her.  She loves all things girly, is thoughtful, helpful and such a character.  Jaaten reminds me so much of me when I was little which I'm sure many kids do for their parents. Jaaten is so funny and she loves to make other people laugh.  I love that about her.

My sweet friend, Jess, gave Jaaten these Monster High dolls for her birthday.  Grammie had gotten Jaaten SO MANY Monster High dolls while we were in MO I was shocked when Jaaten did NOT already have the two Jess gave her.  Well done, Jess!  XOXO

These girls!  We took the kids to FlipSide (indoor amusement place) just down the street from our house on Jaaten's birthday.  We had a party planned for the following Saturday but wanted to do something fun on her actual birthday.  "Fun" always involves ice cream for this girl! 7.13.16

 Jaaten decided she wants to take gymnastics now....no more dance, gymnastics only. LOL!  She is so funny!  We signed the boys up too.  This was their trial day to see if they liked it.  Jaaten was totally in!  The boys....not so much.  LOL!  They seemed to like it while they were doing it but didn't really listen to the young girl that was the instructor.  They said "we don't want to go back" when they got in the car.  HAHA!  Saved us a chunk of money and probably best for everyone involved until they listen a little better. ;))) 7.14.16

 Meet the teacher!!  Jaaten started First Grade this year and she was so excited to meet her new teacher, Mrs. Chavez.  Jaaten had told me earlier in the summer she really hoped she got Mrs. Chavez because she is really nice and so pretty.  Geez!  7.21.16
