Happy Birthday, Hudson & Steel!! ;)

Hudson Roper & Steel Hunter were born on Sunday, August 21st at 8:07a and 8:09a. The boys were not due until September 19th so were we a little surprised. I worked on Saturday and started have contractions about 1:30a that night. Abbey was so great to come over about 2:30a and and we were in the hospital by 3a. I think Jaafe and I both thought it was probably a false alarm and we would be sent home that night. By 5a the doctor told us we would be having babies in an hour or so. WOW!! I don't think we were ready to hear that yet but we got ready quick!! There was a little delay in getting pictures posted but we have been a little busy. ;)
This first picture is Hudson. Hudson was born first at 8:07a and weighed 5.7lbs. Steel born at 8:09a weighing 5.14lbs.

I didn't get to hold Hudson right away. ;( This was the first time I was able to hold Steel.

Steel was able to come to my room the day after the boys were born.

Our friend Olen and his Dad were kind enough to come to the hospital and bless both the boys for us before we left. Much thanks to them!!

So most of you already know our little guy Hudson was not able to come home from the hospital with us. He stayed in the NICU for 9 days with "mildly immature lungs". Although we were able to bring him home on Tuesday, August 30th, we are now back in the hospital with him. Hudson is having trouble breathing while he eats. The doctors have put a feeding tube back in to help him continue to grow and let him mature a little more. The hope is that Hudson will just "grow out of it." We appreciate all our friends and family who continually call, text and e-mail for updates and support. ;) Love you guys. ;)
