Halloween Day

I remember Halloween being such a fun day at school when I was in elementary.  We always had a Halloween Party the last hour or so of the day.  We could wear costumes and actually call it a Halloween Party.  No costumes and for sure we cannot use the word Halloween for these kids!  Sheesh.....so silly!  They had fun anyway!

The kids' costumes were so awesome this year!!  I am always a little surprised a what they pick!!  Hudson was the only one who stuck with his original choice.  He decided he wanted to be Darth Vador for Halloween in the SUMMER!  That's' my kid!  Steel, however, wanted to be a ninja when we went to get costumes two weeks before Halloween.  So we bought a ninja costume.  Then, he saw a knight costume in the closet I had bought last year.  So he wanted to be the knight....with no pants.  Then he wanted jeans.  But he wanted to be a zombie knight with blood once he saw Jaaten's blood.  HAHAHAHAHA.  An the Killer Klown Jaaten picked was over the top.  I guess the Princess days are over.  (insert hysterically bawling emojis here)!!!!!

 And the poses!  UGH!
The very FIRST house we trick-or-treated gave out these full size, double-sided light swords, a bag a little toys and a bag of candy!  WHAT?!?!?  Hudson said he was ready to go home after that house.  HAHAHAHA!  I was down!  The other two wanted to stay.  LOL!

They trick-or-treated their hearts out!  They had to sit and rest.  Sheesh!
Soooooo we never figured out how he did it but Steel had DOUBLE the candy the other two had.  Hmmmmmm….funny little dude that one!
Then the light swords gave us many nights of fun in the backyard!
