4th of July

We went to Papa and Grammy's house in Kansas City for 4th of July this year.  Jaaten was invited to a neighborhood parade on the morning of the 4th.  She was so excited to carry her own flag.  ;)

 After the parade the kids were able to walk all through the firetruck.  Jaaten didn't want to get on the firetruck.  I was shocked!

 Every morning Jaaten wanted to eat breakfast on the deck with her Papa.  After breakfast, there was always something good to do outside. ;)

Papa got all these toys from my Aunt Debbie after my Uncle Gary passed away. Jaaten was beside herself when Papa dumped them out for her.  She could not decide what to show me first when I came outside to see. ;)  So cute!!  Thank you, Aunt Debbie!!  ;)

We had a cake for Jaaten's 3rd birthday while we were in KC too.  My sweet friend Brooke Jaaten the Longneck Cake.  Jaaten was REALLY excited this was HER cake.  She saw the cake on Grammy's dining room table and helped herself to the icing. ;)  We had another cake and sang Happy Birthday.  Those pictures are of course on Grammy's camera. ;)   

Jaaten wanted to help her Papa get the suitcase zipped to come home.  What a helper she is!!

 HOME AGAIN!!!  Right when we got home Jaaten had to make sure her longnecks made the flight okay. ;)

BOTH Hudson and Steel pulled themselves up for the first time at Papa and Grammy's house....July 5th to be exact. ;)  Once we got home, they kept practicing. ;)

 Jaaten got this cute paint set with canvas and an easel which she really liked.  There was a dinosaur on that canvas for her to paint.  She had her own ideas.  ;)

 Jaaten loves this floor puzzle she got for her birthday too!!  When we got home, Aunt Sherrie had sent us ANOTHER floor puzzle so she was in heaven. ;)

 Jaaten WAS sitting in that chair right by Steel.  This is Steel and Hudson trying to have tea with Jaaten.  Jaaten was not excited about it.  See Jaaten below. ;)

 SAD her brothers are able to get into her stuff even more now. ;(

Everbody Loves to Swim!

Papa has taken Jaaten to the Dinosaur Museum (Natural History Museum), the park, to feed the ducks, swimming (most days),to get huge mylar balloons, ice cream and donuts since he has been here....for one week!  Jaaten is loving life!

 This is such a cute video of Steel and Hudson from last week.  They laughed at each other for a good part of the afternoon.  ;)   

 I put these new seats on the stroller for the boys and they LOVE them.  These seats make the boys look so grown up!  Steel is in back, Hudson in front.

 Papa has been here with us for a little over a week.  Jaafe went to a roping in Reno over Father's Day weekend so Papa came out to help us. ;)  We had a Radio Flyer Wagon to put together so Jaaten wanted to "help" of course!

 Papa took Jaaten to get a donut and she had to smell the powdered donuts!

 Hudson and Steel got in the pool today for the very first time.  They splashed at each other for a while when we first got in.  I wish I would have been able to get a video!

 Hudson really liked the pool and didn't even cry when he went through the waterfall.  ;)

 All 3 of my kiddos are 10 months old in the pictures below.  Jaaten looks a lot more like her brothers than I had thought. ;)

It's Gettin' Easier...

These first two pictures were taken at the end of May and never made it to the blog.  AND Jaafe shaved his face!!  Always takes me a while to get used to him having no goatee!!

Hudson & Steel - June 1st

Jaaten wanted her Dad to sleep in her room on the floor.  He went along with it at first but she was NOT happy when he got up to leave...

Jaaten still loves her ponies.  She hasn't played with them in a while but none of the rules have changed.  Nobody touches the ponies!!

Jaaten watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse every morning.  Looks like 2 more will be joining her.  ;)

Steel & Hudson - June 7th

The boys are really getting around now so we had to block 'em in!!  This playpen has taken over our greatroom!!  BUT, it is GREAT!!  I am wondering why I waited so long to buy it!

Hudson & Steel - June 9th

Jaafe and I took Jaaten to the movies to see Madagascar 3.  She loved it and was pretty good in the theater for only her 2nd time.  The first try with Dad didn't go so well.  They had this sign outside our movie.  You can see Jaaten and Jaafe's little faces in the hole on the right. ;)

Abbey took this picture a couple weeks ago and it never made it onto the blog either.  This girl loves to swim!!  We usually have to wear these swim shirts on her because she wants to stay in the pool so long!!  ;)
