"Catch Up" Post

These pictures go all the way back to September. Jaaten and I were throwing water balloons all over the backyard most days when it was still warm outside. ;)

Grammy got Jaaten some ponies to play with when she was here in AZ helping me with the boys. Jaaten wanted to ride these ponies too!

It amazes us how well Jaaten knows how to work our iPhones and iPad. Jaaten would play games on this iPad all day if we would let her!

Hudson after a bath in late October.

Steel after a bath in late October. Just over 2 months old...

Papa bought Jaaten her own little car. She was a little unsure about it at first but now she LOVES it!

Second only to playing ponies is playing dinosaurs! Jaaten wanted to be this dinosaur for Halloween this year and wore it everyday afterwards for awhile!

Our friend Lisa was a cowboy riding a horse for Halloween. Jaaten wanted to ride the horse...lol

Hudson (left) & Steel (right) stayed home with me and Grammy while Dad and Papa took Jaaten trick or treating.

This was Hudson's most recent visit to the hospital on November 3rd. We only had to stay one night this time. ;)

I stayed overnight at the hospital with Hudson so that meant Jaafe stayed with Jaaten and Steel. Jaaten got up in the middle of the night and her Daddy let her "sleep in Mom's spot".

Steel sprawled out on the floor. November 9th, 2011.

Jaaten would never even pick up a pacifier UNTIL she saw her brothers have them! Abbey gave both the boys these cute pacifiers and Jaaten found one in their room.

Jaaten has started to dress up in all her cute princess, fairy and dinosaur costumes. Now she likes to dress up like her Dad every time she is in our closet.

Jaaten is still very uninterested in the boys. Once in a while she will sit behind their bouncer and tell me, "I help". Usually she "helps" for about 5 seconds and nearly flings them out of their seat though. ;)

Thanksgiving Day - Jaafe took Jaaten to his Aunt and Uncles house down the street. I stayed home with the boys. This was the best picture I could get.

Jaafe's family went bowling the day after Thanksgiving. Jaaten LOVED playing the games at the arcade next to the lanes and eating their junk food.

We had to buy a bigger SUV to fit all the carseats comfortably. Lucky for Jaaten the new car has a DVD player. Lucky for me too I guess!

Jaaten's hair is getting so long and she is getting so big. ;( She still loves to take a bath and play with all her ponies IN the bath!

Abbey and Louie (Abbey's husband) take Jaaten with them some evenings to dinner, or shopping or just to hang out at their house. The first couple times Abbey asked me is she could take Jaaten home with her for a couple hours in the evening, AFTER SHE HAD WATCHED BOYS AND JAATEN ALL DAY, I thought she was nuts. But, Jaaten loves both of them and it is a quiet couple hours for me!! Of course, their are no rules at Abbey and Louie's house........like eating on the couch. ;)

Abbey's Mom has this tiny dog, Barbie, that Jaaten really likes too. Abbey is brave to let Jaaten walk/drag her...

They take Jaaten to the park sometimes in the evening too which I LOVE because we don't get to do that as much as we used to.

Our good friends Jarrod and Ashlee sent the boys the cute onsies from San Diego! Soooo cute!

Up until now, we have been giving the boys baths right at the kitchen sink. This was Steel's first bath in the tub. YES, I used Jaaten's pink infant tub for them. ;)
