Butterflies, Ponies & THAT Chicken

Hudson could use a haircut.  The cut is a little blunt for me this time around.  However he screams "ouch" the entire time so I know our girl is always trying to hurry. ;/

 Papa sent Jaaten this Caterpillar to Butterfly kit.  Jaaten was so excited!!  Me?  Not so much.  3.27.14

Last Saturday, Jaaten went with Jaafe to run errands and rope.  She LOVES to hang out with her Dad. ;)  3.29.14

 Jaafe had this tractor parked down the street from our house so ALL the kids wanted to ride back in it!  3.29.14

 And all the kids have been riding Frannie almost every evening.  She has turned out to be a GREAT pony and they all 3 love her!!  I'm a little surprised nobody is scared though.  3.29.14

 We have to keep these caterpillars where the kids cannot touch them.  Once they attach themselves to the top of the jar it cannot be moved.  Jaaten of course always wants to get right close and stare at them. ;))  4.3.14

 They grow FAST!!  It is a little gross.  ;/

Last week Jaaten's class was learning the letter "U".  Hence Jaaten is a unicorn.  She was so proud of that thing!  4.4.14

 Jaafe and I saw this pink bug in the parking lot of Nordstrom Rack!!  Whaaaat?!  I love it!

Jaafe brought this old golf cart home and we took all the kids for a ride.  Jaafe stopped and talked to the neighbor so the boys talked too...

 And Jaaten got herself a chair because she knew her Dad would be awhile!  4.5.14

 Sooooooo the chicken pecked Jaaten right IN her eye!!  AND SHE STILL WANTS TO KEEP IT!!  Ugh!!  4.6.14  Her eye is fine now.....but I thought that was going to be my out to get rid of that thing.  BUT now Jaafe likes the chicken because it eats all the bugs around his barn.  Ugh!  Ugh!!  Ugh!!!
