The kids have been asking to go to the beach since May! We didn't go this summer so we decided to take them over Fall Break. We usually go to San Diego but changed it up and went to Newport this year. Disneyland has a Halloween Party a couple times a week this time of year so we decided to take the kids there one day also. It was only a 30 minute drive from the beach which was great too. The next request after asking to go to the beach was "Can Grammie & Papa come with us to the beach?" So Grammie & Papa came too. ;) We all love for them to go and they really help Jaafe and I with the kids! Thanks Grammie & Papa!
The day Grammie and Papa flew into AZ was Grammie's birthday. The kids were so excited to throw her a "party" and get her a puppy! LOL.....they don't know their grandmother I guess! Ha! Each of the kids got Grammie a balloon and we had a cake...pretty wild party. The kids loved it though! They had to help blow out candles. ;))
Right when we rolled into Orange County we went to the OC Swap Meet. The kids didn't love it but at least they let me take a picture. ;) 10.2.16
They did however love the giant inflatable slide at the swap meet. LOL!

The boys absolutely LOVED the water this year. This is the first year they would even consider getting in....and then it was hard to get them back up to the house! I love that they love it so much! 10.3.16
We went on a boat ride through the harbor....that was interesting. Fun to get out and see all the amazing homes right on the water. And the kids always love a boat ride! 10.3.16
The Newport park wasn't too shabby either! Not quite like the public parks we have in AZ. ;) 10.3.16

My sweet friend Jess, came with us for the first couple days! Jess is super easy going, fun and the kids LOVE her! So glad she came with even if just for a couple days. ;)))
A lot of times the boys would just sit right off the patio and play in the sand which was awesome! I love that they have each other to play. It ALMOST makes me wish I would've had another girl for Jaaten to have a buddy. ALMOST people....ALMOST! 10.4.16
Crazy 8s. SO this little girl of ours is the most feisty, witty, competitive, spirited little thing! Grammie and Papa brought a deck of Crazy 8 cards to teach Jaaten how to play while we were at the beach. Jaaten loved it and caught on quick. BUT not too long after she learned how to play I heard her trash talking her Papa and her Grammie about beating them at Crazy 8s! Sheesh! 10.4.16
